Documentry film maker Wade Vroom, shot several hours of footage during the session. The result is a 35 minute documentary. NOVELS The Movie takes you inside a 24 hour marathon recording session at Chemical Sound with five of Canada’s top young pop musicians. Tokyo Police Club's Graham Wright, Will Currie of Will Currie and The Country French, and Luke Lalonde of Born Ruffians team up with Dean Marino of Tin Star Orphans and Jason Sadlowski of Chemical Sound to write, collaborate and record a 5 song EP in one day. The documentary will also be seen at festivals such as Pop Montreal. |
